Our one departure from rice. The barley is smoked before it ever meets the mash, so a quiet thread of woodsmoke is drawn through the roast of every sip. Darker and fuller-bodied than the flavoured line — malty, gently bittersweet, unhurried in its warmth — with a smoke that lingers long after the glass is empty. The boldest tuak we make.
